StudySpritTerms of Use
1. Who can use StudySprit
StudySprit is built for students of any age. We do not ask for or verify your age, so we cannot apply different rules to different ages — every account is handled the same way, under the same safety rules: replies are kept age-appropriate for a school student, every message and photo passes automated safety checks, and messages suggesting self-harm are never sent to an AI model at all.
A parent or guardian may ask us to switch AI tools off for a student's account at any time. Because we hold no age information, they will need to tell us the mobile number or email the account uses. If you are a parent who would rather your child did not use StudySprit, contact us and we will delete the account.

2. What StudySprit is — and isn't
StudySprit is a study aid. It generates explanations, quizzes, summaries and plans using AI models. It is not a teacher, an examiner, a doctor, a lawyer or a counsellor.
The Homework Scanner is best-effort. Its accuracy depends on photo quality and handwriting, and its scores are indicative only — they are not a substitute for your teacher's marking.
3. Your account
Keep your sign-in secure and do not share it. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@studysprit.com if you think someone else has access.
4. Fair use
Each account has a daily limit on AI requests per tool. This keeps the service fast and affordable for everyone. You agree not to:
- Use the service to generate content that is illegal, hateful, sexual, or harmful.
- Attempt to bypass safety checks or usage limits.
- Automate, scrape or resell access to the service.
- Submit other people's personal information into the AI tools.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
4a. Plans and payment
Some features are limited by a daily cap. A paid plan raises those caps; it does not change what the app does, what safety rules apply, or which AI providers process your requests.
- Payment is taken by Razorpay. Your card, UPI and bank details are entered in Razorpay's checkout and never pass through the app or our servers.
- A plan is bought for a fixed period and lapses at the end of it. We do not silently auto-renew. When a plan lapses your account returns to the Free plan and nothing is deleted — only the daily limits change.
- Prices are in Indian Rupees and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout.
- A plan is for one person. Sharing one paid account between several people is grounds for suspension without refund.
- If we change a price, the new price applies only to purchases made after the change.

5. Content you submit
You keep ownership of the notes, questions and photos you submit. You grant us permission to process them for the sole purpose of running the service — which includes sending them to the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your content to train our own models.
6. Availability
We aim to keep StudySprit available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. AI features depend on third-party providers and may be unavailable during their outages. If our safety checks are unavailable, AI features are switched off rather than run unchecked — this is deliberate.
7. Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time, in the app or on our deletion page. Deletion is permanent. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or the law.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StudySprit is provided "as is". We are not liable for academic outcomes, decisions made on the basis of AI-generated content, third-party service outages, or misuse of the application. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the app before they take effect.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
